That's the problem with this problem - it's not reproduceable so we can't figure out why it happens but when it does it's a major hassle to fix.

Installed smoothly. Since it is only used in rare occasions, know no way to actually test it.  Cheesy

It happens at random and (luckily) doesn't happen very often but it's a royal pain to fix: the same Board showing up in more than one place. This let's you choose which 'copy' to keep. 

Fix Board Dupes
Version: 0.1

Description:
Fixes duplication of boards in forum.master. This mod adds a notice in ManageBoards that there are duplicates boards, creates a screen so select the dupes to be removed.

Installation:
1) Modify YaBB files using BoardMod or manually.
2) Load modified files to your server in ASCII mode.

cgi-bin/yabb2/Admin/AdminSubList.pm (ASCII)
cgi-bin/yabb2/Admin/ManageBoards.pm (ASCII)
