The trick to using Modules in yabb2/Modules when there are older versions installed in the Perl lib: in YaBB.pl and AdminIndex.pl find
Code
Select All
   push @INC, './Modules';

and replace it with
Code
Select All
   unshift @INC, './Modules';

This will push the Modules in yabb2/Modules to the front of the 'included libs' array. The downside - if there are newer versions of what's there, YaBB will still load the versions in yabb2/Modules first.

Actually parent.pm should be installed on the server, there is a kernel module. As you can see again, how different the server. I can not know everything, unfortunately.

PM me the location of your forum, the admin login (or create an admin login for me) and FTP details for your site. It looks like something else may be missing from the Perl modules on your server.

Edited:
The posted error indicates a core module for Perl 5.10.0 is missing. http://search.cpan.org/~corion/parent-0.234/lib/parent.pm This should be referred to your host as it indicates a problem with the 5.10.0 Perl install.

I'm assuming your host provides some sort of user control panel - if so check and see if parent.pm is actually installed as one of the listed modules. (Note that the name is case-sensitive.)

Sorry.

I have to make an addition:

Modulecheck says:

Datetime:
Can't locate parent.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl . ./Modules) at Modules/DateTime/TimeZone/Floating.pm line 6. DateTime::TimeZone

Attempt to reload DateTime/TimeZone.pm aborted. Compilation failed in require at (eval 11) line 1.

Hi there.

I Have the Problem, that the Boardtime is 2 Hours wrong.
In the AdminCP I can't change the UTC +1. Nothing happens.

On the server the DateTime-Module is not installed.
I copied all of the modules in the ./Modules Folder.

The Modulcheck says:

Attempt to reload DateTime.pm aborted. Compilation failed in require at (eval 10) line 1.

Thank you for any help!

How to install the module on the server, I can not say unfortunately. This can only be a Linux professional and I am not well. I have copied it locally within the forum. This works without any problems.

Maybe can Dave Rolsky, the developers of these modules help.

Thank You. As you already know, there's quite a number of hosts out there who just can't figure out how to install this Module.  Shocked

So this will be a great help to YaBBers in that situation.

Module / Date::Time and DateTime::TimeZone
Jul 25th, 2015 at 4:53pm
Print Post
Here is the last module of Date::Time and DateTime::TimeZone (Version 1.92).
An installation on the server is not necessary, but there must be no previous version on the server to be available. Modules on the server always have priority and must first be deleted.

Copy all of the modules in the Modules folder.

Copy the Countries.lng in the Languages folder (for all languages).
