I've got a very simple html5 enabler loaded here.

Aside from the 'experimental' warning from W3C on everything and the marquee tag when it's used, we're in pretty good shape - assuming things get double checked when tweaked  Embarrassed.

Next week or so, I'll be rearranging things on the templates - set the HTM5 template as a selectable full template rather than Forum default, set the XHTML version back as the Forum default, add some more style sheets to show people how easy it is to change the entire look with style sheets and new graphics.

Some of the html differences between the HTML5 template and the XHTML template are going to cause problems with the ManageTemplate Template Preview and that's going to take some time to sort out. (Putting all the html into templates was supposed to get rid of the need to add templates as Mods - but there will need to be a Mod for changes to ManageTemplates to add this one. Oh well...  Roll Eyes)

I think I got Detailed Version check to find the line without it being at the top. That should help.

Down to one remaining warning, but that is just a reminder to check again later Wink When both HTML5 specification and the validator are finalized, we should aim for no errors and no warnings.

I only posted it here, because Quirks mode can introduce rendering issues and people have been complaining about them even though on my own IE version things look pretty OK except some minor vertical alignment issues...

There's a problem with YaBB detecting the revision data on html files unless it's the first line. I'm still working on getting it to behave.

Comments seen before doctype. Internet Explorer will go into the quirks mode.

This is caused here by having SVN version stamp before doctype declaration. It should be moved after the doctype declaration.
