	@ThM What charset is your German set to in Main.lng? Things happen when the default charset and the language pack charsets don't match. They match here and on my test installs (UTF-8). In theory we shouldn't see problems like that since Perl's internals are Unicode so ISO-8859-1 characters get 'converted' and what's in the vars files are pretty much stored in English which is pretty much charset neutral, but in practice, bad things happen.

	Hi Guys, I've played a little bit around with the board settings and found the following. Is in the forum settings UTF-8 by default, the error described in the profile settings occurs. If ISO-8859-1 set, everything is ok. So is not a specific problem with the language files. For testing please set: Board Settings charset: UTF 8 Set User Language to german change profile settings example birthday und try to save.

	I think you're right. boardmod.de has not installed mod and since everything is displayed correctly. I'll find out which mod it is.

	I know that Pyragony's test site is heavily modded. Since I can't reproduce the problem on a non-modded test install, I'm wondering if there's a conflict with one of the mods that's keeping the chosen gender from showing as having been selected.

	Hi Thomas, ich konnte alle Änderungen in German_Du durchführen und ohne Probleme. Nur das Geschlecht macht Probleme. Zieh dir mal Build1519 aus der SVN. Die deutschen Files sind bereits angepaßt und hier zu finden. Hi Thomas, I could make all changes in German_Du and without problems. Only the sex makes problems. Put on your times Build1519 from the SVN. 	I'm still not able to reproduce the problems you guys are describing. (I'm using an install of Build 1519, with German and German_Du packs installed. German_Du set as Admin's personal language.) Since the gender has been saved in the vars file, then it's the section that determines that the item has been selected that's not working for you. Possibly the actual dropdown in MyProfile.template has been altered. (The variable in question is mixed case - if that's been changed, the results aren't being read into where they need to be.)

	Mahlzeit, ich schreibs einfach noch mal in Deutsch. Meine Spracheinstellung als Admin ist Deutsch (Nur Du Version). Geh ich jetzt ins Profil und ändere z.Bsp. der Geburtsdatum und/oder das Geschlecht oder das Passwort oder den Wohnhort und will dann speichen bekomme ich die Systemmeldung das ich nicht berechtigt dazu bin. Selbiges auch in den Kontaktoptionen. Im Profil Admin Optionen und den PN Einstellungen hingegen sind Änderungen und speichern möglich. Wechsele ich mal komplett in die engliche Sprache kann ich im gesamten Profil Änderungen vornehmen und speichern. Hoffe, ich konnte es deutlich rüberbringen

	I've set up for testing a new YaBB forum. It may be that there is a problem in the German language files in conjunction with the profile options. If i set the German language, it's impossible to save new settings in profile options, and contact information. The options, PN settings and admin area, however works. If i change to the English language version all options works and saving is possible. Is this possibly known?

	It's possible it was a temporary block due to overload from a bank of IP addresses or something else happening on Orangoo's server.
