Oh my gosh, I'm seeing double ... logged in at the same time with two different accounts. Now if I can only mess up this account with zero bytes, we'll be cooking.

Hmmmmm, what to do? Undecided

"Time limit to modify posts"

I had forgotten about the "Time limit to modify posts" thingy. Thanks for reminding me. I have our forum set at 1 minute.

By the way, I just took a quick look at this post of mine that I edited, but I don't see a notation about any edits having been made. Did I discover a bug by chance?

Edited:

On the other hand, with this post here, the editing notation is being displayed (and it's being displayed in this post as well).

Oops! As you can see, Dandello has already answered this.

In the hopeful event someone does manage to zero-out their test vars account (please don't try this with your regular account) PM * Dandello from your regular account (or though YaBBForum.com) and let me know so I can grab it in a backup, delete the now zeroed account so you can use the same credentials for another test, and upload a fix to be tested.  Wink

Just to see if leaving the beta version of myself logged in for an extended period of time might trigger a zero bytes situation, I've purposely kept this account logged on. I'll stay logged on at least overnight Los Angeles time, and I may stay logged on even longer.

If you haven't already done it, maybe more of you can create a secondary account to see if anything you do in this forum ends up producing 0 bytes in your respective vars file. That way, Dandello might be able to find the bug that's causing zeroed out vars files, which I think is an uncommon occurrence.

I don't see a "Last Edit" mention in posts. Is this intentional?

Note to Dandello: I don't see a "Last Edit" mention in posts. Is this intentional?

By the way, I'll likely delete some or all of my test posts at some point so that I don't mess up the place too much. Wink

Edited:
I'm kind of now thinking I should just leave my posts as they are just in case the ones after mine might seem odd without them.

But now I'm a bit embarrassed by what I posted. After all, I had been joking around while thinking they'd be temporary. Oops! Embarrassed
